Fixing Loose Chairs
If you’ve ever owned old, or even newer, wooden chairs the chances are excellent that you’ve experienced problems with their coming apart. This is especially true if you live in an area where you need heat in the winter or experience cyclical low humidity. The problem experienced with wooden chairs occurs as a result of the wood drying out as a due to a lack of moisture in the air and the subsequent failure of the glue that had been applied to the joints when the chair was assembled.
